Ms. Leifer’s grade 5/6 class spent the week at Stampede School as part of the Open Minds Program. They did an excellent job representing Guy Weadick and are excited to share their learning with the rest of the school. We have many other offsite opportunities coming up for our other classes, watch for information from your child’s teacher.
Calgary Hitmen Be Brave Game
All Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6 classes will be going on a field trip to the Calgary Hitmen Be Brave game on Tuesday, February 24. We need many volunteers for this event. To volunteer you need police clearance. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and have police clearance, please let your child’s teacher know. If you would like to volunteer and do not have police clearance, please contact the office and we can help you start the process.
Parking in Front of the School
Please note that parking directly in front of the front door of the school is identified as Handicapped Parking (Permit required) and bus parking. Please obey the posted signs and ensure that you are not parking in this spot.
