Thank you to our grade 5 and 6 soccer team and teachers who represented Guy Weadick during the Diversity Cup soccer tournament on the weekend. Students showed excellent sportsmanship and represented our school well. Our Talent Show also happened this week, students did a wonderful job showcasing their many talents! Thank you to all the families who came to support our soccer team and talent show.
Sports Day
We have Sports Day planned for Monday, June 22. Students will participate in a variety of activities with their classes.
- Please send a hat with your child as they will be outside.
- If you would like your child to wear sunscreen, please apply it before they come to school.
The theme for sports day is favorite jersey or colour, students are encouraged to wear a jersey or their favorite colour.
Grade 6 Celebration
Our grade 6 farewell is happening on Wednesday, June 24 at 1:30 PM.
- Grade 6 families will receive additional information from their classroom teachers.
Pancake Breakfast
Pancake Breakfast -The Calgary Stampede Board along with our School Council is hosting a pancake breakfast on Thursday, June 25.
Students can wear western wear if they would like. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:15 AM on the school compound.
- It is up to families and students if they would like to participate in the breakfast.
- The breakfast will include pancakes, sausages (halal turkey), juice and syrup. It is a regular school day for students, we will eat outside and when the morning bell rings, students will go inside with their classes.
- Families may join in the pancake breakfast.
Last Day of School
Friday, June 26 is the last day of school for Grade 1-6 and PM Kindergarten, this is an early dismissal day and school will be done at 12:30pm.
- The last day of Kindergarten for our AM students is Thursday, June 25.
Report Cards
Report cards will be available on Thursday, June 26, 2026 through your MyCBE account. You will be able to view report cards until July 31, 2026 please print a copy if you would like access after that date.
