It has been an exciting week of learning at Guy Weadick. Students had the opportunity to participate in our school-wide musical “101 Dalmatians,” and it was a huge success! Thank you to the many families who came out to see the performances. Thank you to all the teachers who volunteered their time to support this production outside of school hours, including lights, costumes, set design, and providing clubs for your students. We appreciate their dedication to making such opportunities available to students. Our grade 6 students had the opportunity to visit Dr. Gordon Higgins School this week and enjoyed some new experiences. A reminder that there is no school on Monday, May 18, as it is a non-instructional day (Victoria Day).

Registration Open for My 1st Ride 

The CBE, along with their partners, are offering a school bus orientation program called My 1st Ride. This program is designed to familiarize new bus students with the experience of taking the yellow bus to and from school on a regular basis.  The program runs on May 23 and May 24; pre-registration is required. Please see the CBE Transportation page for more information and to register.
