It’s hard to believe that next week is the last school week of 2025! We are so proud of everything our students, staff and school have accomplished this year.

Field Trips

We have many field trips occurring in the new year. For field trips to happen, we need volunteers with police clearance to support. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the office and we can help you start the process. Here are some of the upcoming field trips we have (anyone over 18 with police clearance is able to volunteer):

  • Grade 5/6 classes will all be attending Open Minds Stampede School for a week.
    • Ms. Leifer’s Class: Jan. 12-16
    • Mr. Mohamad’s Class: Jan. 19-23
    • Ms. Talion’s Class: Jan. 26-29 and Feb. 10
  • Grade ¾ and Grade 5/6 Calgary Hitmen Be Brave game on February 24. We need many volunteers for this event.

Please reach out to your child’s teacher or the office if you are able to volunteer for any of our upcoming trips. We appreciate all our volunteers and the support they provide.

School Photos

Individual student proofs have been sent home with students. If you would like to purchase photo packages you may order online or return the envelope with exact change. If you order online, the photographer has let us know you may get the photos sooner. Photo retakes will be on Monday, February 9.

Pajama Day

On Friday, December 19, students are invited to wear their pajamas to school if they would like.

School Reporting

Each year, schools capture evidence of continuous improvement towards the goals. The School Results Report is posted annually and speaks to the achievement of goals specified in our School Development Plan and to the targeted area(s) of improvement for the coming years. Guy Weadick’s updated School Development Plan has also been posted, these documents are located on the Our School section of our website.
