It was another great week of learning at Guy Weadick School. Make sure to ask your child what they have been learning about this week. Our Grade 5/6 classes were excited to share their “Craft Market” with the school today. This was a celebration of learning showcasing the hard work grade 5 and 6 students have been engaged in related to numeracy, literacy and wellness outcomes.

Pajama Day

Thursday, Dec. 19 is pajama day. Students are invited to wear their pajamas to school on this day if they would like.

Winter Break

Friday, Dec. 20 is the last day of school before Winter Break. The school will be closed from Dec. 21-Jan.5. Students return to class on Monday, Jan. 6.

Field Trip Volunteers

We have many exciting field trips coming up for our students. In order for field trips to happen we need volunteers with Police Clearance to join us. Please contact the office if you are interested in getting your Police Clearance completed so you can volunteer. Your child’s classroom teacher will let you know when field trip dates are coming up for their class.

2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens on Monday, Jan. 13.  For children to be eligible to register and attend kindergarten in September 2025, they must turn five years old on or before Dec. 31, 2025. For additional please see the Kindergarten registration page.
