The Grade 5/6 classes did a great job hosting an assembly for the school today. They were able to share learning from their time at Stampede School.

Calgary Hitmen Be Brave field trip

Students in Grades 3-6 will be attending the Calgary Hitmen Be Brave hockey game on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Please ensure your child has returned their field trip form. Contact your child’s teacher with any questions.

Pink Shirt Day 

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, students are encouraged to wear a pink shirt to help spread kindness and a sense of belonging. A pink shirt is worn on Feb. 25 representing an act kindness that has grown into a symbol against bullying in schools across the globe.

Next Year

We are beginning our planning for next year, if your child will be moving and not retuning to Guy Weadick School in September, please email the school with your child’s name and what school they will be attending. If your child is in grade 6 they will automatically be registered at their next school. Our designated school is Dr. Gordon Higgins School for Grade 7. Grade 4 students who live in Taradale are designated to Ted Harrison School for Grade 5.
