Guy Weadick School was excited to welcome students back after Winter Break. We are looking forward to all the learning opportunities that students will be engaged in for the rest of the year.

2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year opens on Monday, Jan. 13.  For children to be eligible to register and attend kindergarten in September 2025, they must turn five years old on or before Dec. 31, 2025. For additional please see the Kindergarten registration page.

School Council and PAC Meeting

 Our January School Council and PAC meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 3:30PM. This meeting will be both in-person and virtual, the virtual link will be sent out on the afternoon of Jan. 16. All parents and families are welcome to attend our School Council Meetings.

Field Trip Volunteers

 We have many exciting field trips coming up for our students. In order for field trips to happen we need volunteers with Police Clearance to join us. Please contact the office if you are interested in getting your Police Clearance completed so you can volunteer.

On February, 26 all of our Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 students will be attending the Telus Be Brave Hockey Game, we will need many volunteers for this field trip. Please let your child’s teacher know if you would like to volunteer and if you already have clearance or will be applying for it.

Student Absences

 If your child is going to be absent or late, please call the attendance line: 403-777-6740 press 1. Please leave a message with your child’s name, teacher and reason for absence. This line is checked every morning before attendance messages are sent home.
