It was a wonderful week at Guy Weadick School. Our Grade 5/6 soccer team did an excellent job representing Guy Weadick at the Kiwanis Diversity Cup Soccer Tournament. Thank you to all our teacher coaches and families who supported students during the tournament.

The weather turned out great for our sports day! Students were able to participate in different stations based on skills they learned in gym this year.

Our Talent Show also happened this week, students did a wonderful job showcasing their many talents! Thank you to all the families who came to support our talent show and for the volunteers who attended our volunteer celebration.

Pancake Breakfast

The Calgary Stampede Board along with our School Council is hosting a pancake breakfast on Wednesday, June 25. Students can wear western wear if they would like. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:15am on the school compound. It is up to families and students if they would like to participate in the breakfast. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausages (halal turkey), juice and syrup. It is a regular school day for students, we will eat outside and when the morning bell rings, students will go inside with their classes. Families may join in the pancake breakfast.

Last Day of School

Thursday, June 26 is the last day of school for Grade 1-6, this is an early dismissal day and school will be done at 11:30am. The last day of Kindergarten for our AM students is Wednesday, June 25. The last day of Kindergarten for our PM students is Thursday, June 26 (students attend from 8:30-11:30am).

Report Cards

Report cards will be available on Wednesday June 25, 2025 through your MyCBE account. You will be able to view report cards until July 25, 2025 (8 a.m.), please print a copy if you would like access after that date.

Transportation Registration

Reminder that the last day to register for transportation for the 2025-2026 school year is Sunday. Families must register by Sunday, June 22 for students to receive a bus stop for September.
