It was another great week of learning at Guy Weadick. We continue to focus on our school-wide School Development Plan (SDP) goal that student foundational skills in literacy will improve. All classrooms and teachers are working on strategies that will help students improve their literacy skills.
School Planning Survey
We know we make better decisions to support student learning when we build understanding and work together. Parent-Teacher Conferences
Beginning Thursday, March 13, 2025 you can book a parent teacher conference through your MyCBE account. All conferences will be held online. Conferences will be held March 20 & March 21 during the following times:
- Thursday, March 20, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm Kindergarten only
- Thursday, March 20, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Kindergarten to Grade 6
- Friday, March 21, 8:30 am – 12:00 pm Kindergarten to Grade 6
Fun Days
As we move into March, our teachers and student leadership team have planned some spirit days for our students. These days are optional and are meant as a fun way to build community in the school. Our next day is on Wed, March 12 and is “Hat Day”. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Wednesday, March 12 - Hat day! Students may wear hats to school this day.

Monday, March 17 - Green Day! Students are encouraged to wear shades of green today.
Wednesday, March 19 - Favourite team day! Wear a jersey, t-shirt, hat, or colour of your favourite team.
Thursday, March 20 - No School for Kindergarten Students Only (Student Learning Conferences)
Friday, March 21 - No School (Student Learning Conferences)
March 22- March 30 - Spring Break (School Closed)
