We had several classes visit Telus Spark this week, thank you to all of the volunteers who help to make our field trips a success!

Class Photo Day

Class photos will be taken on Thursday, May 29. Each student will receive a complimentary class photo before the end of June. 

Save the Dates

As we look forward to June we have some exciting things happening at Guy Weadick School. Please make sure to mark the following important dates in your calendar. The Guy Weadick Talent Show and Volunteer Celebration will be on Friday, June 20. On Tuesday, June 24 we will have a celebration for our Grade 6 students in the afternoon. Wednesday, June 25 will be our pancake breakfast. Additional information will be shared in upcoming weekly messages.

School Council

Our School Council and PAC had their last meeting this week. Thank you to all of the families who have been able to join these meetings. An extra thank you to the parents who are on our executive and contribute their time to support students at our school. The School Council and PAC make big impacts on our school. The largest fundraiser that our PAC holds is a Casino where we volunteer and receive significant funds to support the school. The PAC has received the dates for our next casino: November 5 and 6. They will require many volunteers for this event, please reach out to the school email if you would be interested in volunteering.
