It’s hard to believe that we are already in the month of May! Teachers are looking forward to the exciting learning opportunities that are in store for May and June. Several of our classes participated in field trips this week and did a fantastic job representing Guy Weadick School.
Finding Nemo Musical Performance
Our school wide musical performance of “Finding Nemo” is on the evening of Thursday, May 15, all classes will be participating. Please see the schedule below for what time your child’s class will be performing, additional information will be sent out closer to the date.
5:30 PM Performance
Students from the following classes perform: AM Kindergarten, Ms. Hansen/Devine, Ms. Lewis, Ms. Khalil, Ms. Nichol, Ms. Bains, Mr. Fentiman, Ms. Talion and Mr. Mohamad. This group of classes will also participate in a dress rehearsal on May 15 at 10:00 AM.
7:00 PM Performance
Students from the following classes perform: PM Kindergarten, Ms. Lee, Mr. Beattie, Ms. Schafer, Ms. Sampson, Ms. Gill, Mr. Benoit and Ms. Leifer. This group of classes will also participate in a dress rehearsal on May 15 at 1:30 PM.
Hats on For Mental Health Day
Students and staff are invited to wear a hat on Wednesday, May 7. Every year Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) dedicates a week in May to raise awareness of Mental Health. This year Mental Health Week will run May 5-11, and Hats On! for Mental Health Day will take place on May 7.
