We’ve had a great week at Guy Weadick School. There are several exciting events and activities coming up in the month of September!

Alien-Inline Skating for Grades 1-6

On Monday, students in Grade 1-6 will be bringing home a permission form for Alien-Inline Skating. This is an inline skating program that will happening during physical education time. In order to participate students must return the signed permission form. All equipment is provided by Alien Inline and they provide instructions to teach out students how to rollerblade. Please see your child’s teacher if you have any questions.

Terry Fox Run

Our school will be participating in a Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 20. Our students are excited to support this important event. We will be running outside on the field, please make sure to dress for the weather and bring your water bottle.

Guy Weadick Open House

We are hosting an open house for students and families to come to meet their teachers on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4:00-6:30PM. Teachers will be in their classrooms to welcome students and their families. 

Forms in SchoolEngage

Each year, schools have a variety of forms that parents / legal guardians are required to complete or review and update. The following forms are found online in your SchoolEngage which is accessed through your MyCBE account in the On-Line Forms & School Registration section.:

  • Demographic Verification - 2024-25 – This form includes your child’s personal information as well as parent / legal guardian contact information.
  • Annual Authorization - 2024-25 – Combines the following forms:
    • School District Use of Personal Information - explains how CBE uses personal information in providing education services.
    • Consent for CBE Use of Student Information – provides an option to grant / not grant consent for additional use of student information by school/district and third parties.
    • Consent for Use of Student Information by News Media and Outside Groups (Third Party) - provides an option to grant / not grant consent for additional use of student information by outside groups and third parties

Please submit the Demographic Verification and Annual Authorization forms in SchoolEngage for your child by Monday, September 16. If you do no have a MyCBE account, please contact the office for assistance. Thank you to our families who have already completed these forms
