Principal's Message

It was wonderful to see so many come out for Parent-Teacher Conferences this week. This is an important time to connect about student strengths, challenges and goals before report cards come out in January. If you were not able to come to Parent-Teacher Conferences and would still like an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher, please contact the teacher, we would like to meet with you too! Every child has a specific goal in math, reading and writing, to work towards for January report cards. Help your child achieve their goals, post them on the fridge and ask regularly for evidence of what they are doing to achieve those goals!

Gratitude

A big thank you to School Council for providing a pizza supper for teachers before conferences on Thursday afternoon. It is so lovely to come into the staffroom (right after a long day of teaching, and right before heading into a long evening of conferences!), to a warm, yummy meal. Your generosity of time and spirit are much appreciated in arranging this for us.

Indoor Shoes Please

Please ensure your children have indoor shoes to wear at school. We work hard to keep our floors clean and our gym floor in good shape. Students are required to remove outdoor shoes or boots when they enter the building to avoid tracking water, snow, pebbles, dirt, or mud into the school.
