Important Dates

Dressing for Colder Weather

With the changing weather, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor activities each day.

Students spend time outside during lunch and for learning activities unless the temperature, including wind chill, is below –20°C.

Please also ensure your child has a pair of indoor shoes to leave at school. Students are asked to remove their outdoor shoes when entering the building.

If your family needs support obtaining indoor shoes or winter clothing, please reach out to your child's teacher.

Student Photos and Retakes

Student photos were taken this week. Photo proofs will be sent home to families once they have been returned by the photographer.

If your child was absent on photo day, photo retakes will take place on Wednesday, December 2, 2026.

Remembrance Day Assembly — Tuesday, November 10

Guy Weadick School will acknowledge Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 10, at 10:30 AM.

Our Grade 5/6 students will lead the school in a special assembly, which will also feature a performance by Club Weadick.

Families are welcome to attend and join us in this important time of remembrance.

Fall Break — November 11–15

A reminder that there will be no school for students from Wednesday, November 11, through Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Classes will resume on Monday, November 16, 2026.

School Council and Parent Society Meeting — Thursday, November 19

Our next School Council and Parent Society meeting will take place on Thursday, November 19, at 5:00 PM.
